Basic principles
Hien Electric Industries consistently earns the trust and satisfaction of our customers through its dedication to a constant pursuit of technical improvement and innovation in order to provide the products that society needs. “We will consistently earn the trust and satisfaction of our customers on into the future.”
Quality policy
- In order to carry out effective, continuous quality initiatives in compliance with the requirements of the ISO9001 standard, Hien has built a quality management system which is constantly maintained and improved.
- Hien will meet the specifications required by the customer and agreed upon by Hien, as well as comply with all applicable laws and/or requirements as dictated by official standards.
- Along with setting quality targets and systematically implementing quality control initiatives in order to achieve these targets, Hien also reviews and improves the content of these initiatives.
- This quality policy shall be well-known to all employees and efforts will be made to raise awareness of quality control.
Safety
By enhancing our safety activities and training under the slogan “Safety has precedence over all else”, we are working to achieve a zero accident, zero work injury record.
- ・Safety patrol
- Each manufacturing job site is patrolled monthly to check for unsafe actions or conditions.
- ・Risk assessment presentations
- Each job site identifies harmful risk factors, carries out a risk assessment, and implements countermeasures to reduce risk.
- ・Participation in the three month zero accident campaign
- We are participating in the Labor Bureau’s three month zero accident campaign, as we work to achieve a safe, healthy, and comfortable workplace.
Osadano Factory
Our Osadano Factory is located in the Osadano Industrial Park, which is situated on a plateau in Kyoto Prefecture’s Fukuchiyama City. On a land area of 30,640 m2, this factory manufactures and processes marine cables and high performance products. Obtaining ISO9001 certification in December of 2003 and ISO14001 certification in August of 2004, the factory is working hard on not only the quality front but also the environmental front.
